'Only one neighbor is troublesome': Rajnath Singh's 'dot, dot, dot' warning to Pakistan on Pahalgam attack anniversary

New Delhi: On the first anniversary Pahalgam terror attackDefense Minister Rajnath Singh On Wednesday, without naming Pakistan, it delivered a subtle message, warning that if it “tried to create trouble” again, “dot, dot, dot.” Reiterating India’s longstanding complaint from Germany, Singh added that with one exception, “all neighbors are fine.”At an event with the Indian community, Rajnath Singh, in a video shared by news agency ANI, was heard issuing a direct warning to Islamabad against a repeat of Pahalgam-like incidents. He said, “There is no need to tell what our army has done Operation Sindoor. Our military power is also stronger than ever. India has never attacked any country in the world on its own. But if a neighbor tries to cause trouble, ‘dot, dot, dot’. All the neighbors are fine, only one is in trouble.”Highlighting India’s growing military capabilities, Singh added, “Earlier when it came to defence, to meet our defense requirements, we depended on imports, and our dependence was on imports. But there has been a huge change. Now instead of being importers, we have become exporters. You will be happy to know that this time we have exported around Rs 0.39 crore worth of defense equipment…”His comments came weeks after provocative remarks by Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Asif, who said, “If India tries another false-flag operation, then, God willing, we will take it to Kolkata,” while addressing reporters in Sialkot. On April 22 last year, Pakistan-backed terrorists opened fire on civilians in Pahalgam, a picturesque grassland town in Kashmir’s Anantnag district, killing 26 people.Days after the brutal attack in South Kashmir, India launched a strong retaliatory move with military force on display under Operation Sindoor on 8 May, which blew up 9 key terrorist launchpads in Pakistan and destroyed 11 Pakistani airbases in targeted strikes a day later.
