We had to struggle a lot for the second autopsy. At least the family will now be able to complete the last rites, which will be done soon after the medical procedure,” said Ashish Sharma.His comments came as a four-member team of senior doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences had reached Bhopal to conduct a second post-mortem following the directions issued by the Madhya Pradesh High Court.Tisha’s uncle Lokesh Sharma also expressed confidence in the judicial process after the Supreme Court’s intervention. “A common man can believe since the Supreme Court has considered the initiative. We are hopeful that we will get justice. We will perform the last rites before the report,” he said.The Supreme Court on Saturday took suo motu in the Tisha Sharma dowry death case citing alleged institutional bias and procedural irregularities. A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Jayamalya Bagchi and Vipul M Pancholi is scheduled to hear the matter on Monday.Meanwhile, Tubisha’s father Navnidhi Sharma and the state government have separately moved the Madhya Pradesh High Court to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to Giribala Singh by a Bhopal court. Both applications are scheduled to be heard on Monday.The case sparked nationwide outrage as Tuisha’s family protested and demanded an independent investigation, accusing the deceased of trying to “judge the character posthumously”.Samarth SinghTwisha’s husband and the main accused in the case, was arrested after surrendering at the Jabalpur District Court premises on Friday evening. Singh has been absconding since the FIR was registered and had earlier withdrawn his anticipatory bail plea filed in the Madhya Pradesh High Court.A Bhopal court sent him to seven-day police custody on Saturday.Noida-based model-turned-actor Tisha Sharma was found dead at her in-laws’ house in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area on May 12, months after marrying advocate Samarth Singh.
