Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay took oath as the 9th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday. Many celebrities including Rahul Gandhi and Trisha were present at the function organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. After Vijay took oath as CM, South superstar Kamal Haasan and actor Prakash Raj congratulated him. Kamal Haasan said, ‘Congratulations to my brother Thiru Vijay, President of Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam and Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It is expected that Tamil Nadu will reach new heights under his leadership. I heartily congratulate him. Prakash Raj tweeted and wrote, ‘Many congratulations to Chief Minister Vijay. Best wishes for the new responsibility. It is hoped that the state will progress further under your leadership. R Madhavan also congratulated Actor R Madhavan also congratulated Vijay.
