Accident with the team of Prabhas’ film ‘Fauji’: One crew member died, five injured in the accident; The shooting of the film was stopped immediately




Sad news came from the sets of South Superstar Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Fauji’. A member of the film unit died in a road accident near Hyderabad. Five other people were said to be seriously injured. After the accident, the shooting of the film has been stopped for the time being. According to the report of ‘Bollywood Hungama’, the vehicle of the film unit was going to Ramoji Film City on Tuesday morning. The vehicle lost control and collided with a cement divider near Abdullapurmet on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway. One crew member died on the spot in the collision. The five injured were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital. The local police has registered the case and started investigation. Initial investigation suspects overspeeding and driver losing control. Police is investigating from all angles. The accident occurred near Toopranpet Bridge in Choutuppal police station area. After the accident, director Hanu Raghavapudi and the production house have decided to temporarily stop the shooting. No official statement has been issued by the makers yet. The shooting of ‘Fauji’ is almost 80 percent completed. Some big action sequences are left. This is a period action drama film, in which Prabhas will be seen in the role of a soldier. The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher in important roles. The makers were preparing to release it on Dussehra 2026.
