A case of attack on two policemen during night patrolling has come to light in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. It became very difficult for the policemen to stop and interrogate the youths carrying liquor on bikes. It is alleged that the youth called their comrades and beat up the two constables fiercely, in which one constable was seriously injured. Police have registered a case in the case and arrested three accused, while the search for other accused is going on.
Event Hapur It is near the liquor vend located on Muradpur village road of Dehat police station area. According to the information, on the intervening night of 12th and 13th June, constables Daulatram and Amit posted at Hapur Dehat police station were doing night patrolling on the government Leopard bike. During this time, he saw some youth roaming on the road under suspicious circumstances.
Police claims, 11 people had attacked
Policemen stopped the youth, interrogated them and advised them to go home. It is alleged that during this time the youth started arguing with the policemen and soon they started fighting. Meanwhile, he also called his other friends to the spot. It is being told that about 11 people together attacked both the policemen.
Constable Daulatram suffered a serious head injury in the attack and his head got torn, due to which there was a lot of bleeding. Another constable Amit also got injured. After the incident the accused fled from the spot. On receiving the information, additional police team of Hapur Dehat police station reached the spot and admitted both the injured policemen to the hospital, where they were treated.
3 arrested so far, search for others continues
In this matter, Hapur Superintendent of Police Kunwar Gyananjay Singh said that the policemen were checking during night patrolling. Meanwhile, some youths riding a bike were stopped for questioning. During the search, liquor bottles were found with them. After this, the youth called their other comrades and abused and assaulted the policemen.
SP said that a case has been registered in this regard under relevant sections at Hapur Dehat police station. Out of the 11 accused identified so far, three have been arrested, while the police are continuously conducting raids to arrest the remaining accused.
