New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condemned the Iranian attack in the UAE’s Fujairah that left three Indian nationals injured.In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Strongly condemn the attack in UAE in which three Indian nationals were injured. Targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable.““India stands in strong solidarity with the UAE and reiterates its support for peaceful resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy. Ensuring safe and uninterrupted navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is vital for regional peace, stability and global energy security,” the Prime Minister added.According to reports, the injuries occurred after a fire broke out in the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone due to a strike. The injured were taken to hospital, where their condition was described as moderate, authorities said. The incident comes as the US-Iran ceasefire appears to be on the verge of collapse as peace talks have seemingly hit an impasse.
