NSA Doval calls on UAE President; discusses bilateral ties, West Asia energy situation | India News
New Delhi: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Sunday discussed measures to deepen strategic partnership with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Discussions focused on recent developments in West Asia and their implications for regional and international security and stability, global energy security concerns.During his meeting with the UAE President, Doval also extended his greetings Prime Minister Narendra Modi And also discussed measures to deepen bilateral relations. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Ali Bin Hammad Al Shams, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security were also present in the meeting.In a post on X, the Indian Embassy in the UAE said, “NSA Ajit Doval paid an official visit to the UAE. He met President HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan… discussed measures to deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, regional situation and other matters of mutual interest.”UAE state news agency WAM reported. Doval greeted Prime Minister Modi and the UAE President reciprocated his best wishes for the Indian leadership and wished for further development and prosperity for India and its people.This is the second high-level visit from India to the UAE. Earlier this month, Jaishankar met UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi and greeted Prime Minister Modi.Jaishankar pointed to the strength of the India-UAE strategic partnership, noting that the ongoing dialogue between the two countries remains robust and transparent despite a complex regional environment.
