Mumbai: Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu Supported women’s conservation, growth-led welfare and high birth rates, arguing that India must address structural challenges.Speaking at The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence, she said reserving seats for women is the best path to stronger political participation and dismissed fears that restrictions would hurt southern states, saying any increase in seats would apply proportionately across India.On the economy, Naidu said welfare cannot depend only on borrowing and lending. He said the government should first create wealth through reforms, investment and business growth.Naidu also called for a rethink on population policy. The Andhra Chief Minister said India should now encourage families to have at least two children to protect its demographic advantage.
