‘Mona Kapoor was crying sitting outside the studio’: Boney Kapoor-Sridevi’s relationship came to light during the film ‘Judaai’, the singer told the story.

Singer Jaspinder Narula made her mark in Bollywood with the song Mujhe Ek Pal Chain Na Aaye from the film Judaai. Recently, the singer told that during the recording of the song, Mona Kapoor came to know about the relationship between Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, after which she was crying outside the studio. Sridevi, Anil Kapoor and Urmila Matondkar were seen in this film. The film was produced by Boney Kapoor. In a recent interview given to Bollywood Thikana, Jaspinder Narula told that later when he became friends with Boney Kapoor’s first wife Mona Kapoor, he came to know many things about that period. Jaspinder told, ‘Mona Kapoor told me that you were singing inside and I was crying sitting on the stairs of Super Sound Studio. At that very moment I came to know everything. Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor have two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. Mona Kapoor died due to cancer in 2012. Boney and Sridevi have two daughters, Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Sridevi died in Dubai in 2018. Jaspinder Narula told the story of recording the song of ‘Judai’ that while explaining the situation of the song, he was told that this song will be filmed on Sridevi. Her role in the film is to get her husband married for the second time for money. He also told that he had a problem with his ears during the recording. One ear was completely blocked, yet he recorded this song with difficulty. Referring to singer Hariharan, the singer said that he had praised him. According to Jaspinder, Hariharan had told him that he should have entered the industry earlier.
