The viral girl of Prayagraj Mahakumbh has filed an FIR against director Sanoj Mishra and three others under the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses). Ernakulam Central Police of Kerala has registered a case and started investigation.

A police officer, on condition of anonymity, said – A case has been registered against four people on April 29. The victim has alleged that when she was a minor, director Sanoj Mishra had abused her during the shooting of the film ‘The Diary of Manipur’. Mishra exploited her by promising her acting opportunities.

The official said the alleged incident took place outside Kerala. This case will be handed over to the concerned police station. According to the information, the victim has also recorded her statement before the magistrate.

VHP leader and lawyer Anil Vilayil are also among the accused.

Mishra said – the allegations are a premeditated conspiracy

On the other hand, film director Sanoj Mishra has called these allegations a well-planned conspiracy. Claimed that he was being targeted for raising his voice on issues like ‘Love Jihad’.

Director Sanoj Mishra has released the video and appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for justice. Mishra alleged that the actress of his film was lured to Kerala. The minor girl was married on the basis of fake documents. Now, for raising his voice in the matter, he himself is being implicated in a false case.

He said- Action is not being taken against those who are accused of kidnapping, rape and giving wrong information. On the contrary, FIR was registered against me under serious sections like POCSO. The girl’s family is with me. He claims that the girl is being forced to give statements under pressure.

Sanoj said that Kerala Police is searching for them while the main accused is roaming freely. He has the protection of the government and administration.

Said- My family is worried, the future of the film is also in trouble.

Sanoj Mishra became emotional and said that his family is upset due to this fight. He is in heavy debt and the future of his film is also in jeopardy. He said that his mother is ill and there is an atmosphere of despair in the house.

Mishra said, “I am fighting alone, but the truth will come out one day. I am getting the blessings of saints and prayers of the people.”

Let us tell you that the victim is pregnant these days. Her husband Farman Khan has claimed that in such a condition she cannot travel and cannot appear before the police.

Farman told the Madhya Pradesh Police who reached Kochi – doctors have advised bed rest considering the health and pregnancy. At present the police is investigating the claim. Medical certificate can be sought from the local administration for confirmation.

It is clear from this statement that the viral girl is not missing and is living with her husband. MP Police has not been able to interrogate both of them till now in the matter of them being minors.

Two different certificates of date of birth were found

The marriage of Kumbh Viral Girl has been in controversy since the beginning. First it was described as ‘Love Jihad’, then the family claimed that she was a minor. During investigation, discrepancies were found in the birth certificate of Maheshwar Municipal Council.

As per medical records he was born on 30 December 2009. At the time of marriage on 11 March 2026, her age was 16 years, 2 months and 12 days. After this, the administration had given instructions to cancel the old certificate dated January 1, 2008.

The family had said – Farman married by coaxing

The viral girl’s parents complain that Farman had persuaded her to marry her. National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) investigation revealed that she was a minor at the time of the marriage.

After this, a case was registered against Farman Khan under POCSO Act. He had to appear before the police for statement in this case. At present, the Kerala High Court has stayed Farman’s arrest till May 20.

Viral girl had accused her parents of harassment

The viral girl had given a statement at Thampanoor police station in Kerala, accusing her parents of torture. She had said that her family members were pressurizing her to marry her uncle’s son, even though she considered him her brother.

Farman supported him during mental stress. When their closeness turned into love, both of them got married in a temple in Kerala in the presence of local people.
