The BJP, however, has dismissed the allegations as baseless, claiming that the police acted under the influence of TMC members.

The police have launched an investigation into a complaint alleging that a group of party workers threatened EC officials and snatched election documents while they were conducting home-based voting for a senior citizen at Kalighat near the Chief Minister’s residence.
