New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has handed over the additional charge of Director to Dr Nikhil Tandon, Head, Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism and Dean (Academics), following the departure of Dr M Srinivas.Dr. Srinivas has been appointed as a full-time member Policy CommissionRequests the Institute to make interim arrangements for its top post.According to an office memorandum issued on April 27, Dr. Tandon will assume director duties in addition to his existing duties. This arrangement will remain in force for six months or until regular appointment, whichever is earlier.The order further states that no additional remuneration shall be paid for retention of additional charges.
