CHENNAI: BJP state president Naynar Nagantharan on Friday said the BJP will not involve itself in any attempt to form the government in Tamil Nadu after the assembly election results. In a statement, he said the party contested the elections with the aim of welfare and progress of the people of Tamil Nadu but accepted the verdict given by the voters. “We believe that the people have not given the BJP any chance or mandate to form the government in Tamil Nadu in this election,” Nagenthran said.“We want to inform the people that we will not vote in support of any party involved in the government formation effort,” he said.
