Mahindra’s Vision S SUV is being discussed a lot. This car has been seen testing many times. Mahindra had shown four concept cars in Mumbai on August 15, 2025, which were based on the brand’s Freedom NU platform. The production version of these cars will be based on the NU-IQ platform.
Among all these cars, the company can first launch Vision S, which has been seen testing in India several times. If reports are to be believed, the company can launch this car with the name Scorpio Sport. In this way the company will introduce the Scorpio nameplate in the B-segment.
SUV will come in bold avatar
However, this name is not confirmed yet. This car has been seen completely covered with camouflage. This car is going to be smaller than 4 meters. That means the company can launch it in the segment of Mahindra 3XO. There are cars in this segment like Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Cirrus.
Fog lights will be available in C-shaped housing in the SUV. something like this design Mahindra Scorpio-Can be seen in N. The car may come with ADAS. Circular LED projector headlamps can be provided in the SUV, which appear to be inspired by the Thar Rocks.

It will have C-shaped LED DRLs. Talking about the rear side, the taillight does not seem to be completely ready yet. The spare wheel is fitted on the tailgate. This means that it will have a side opening rear door.
When can the company launch
This car is going to come with boxy design. The look of the car will be bold and dominating. Most of Mahindra’s cars look flashier than other vehicles on the road. We may see something similar in the Vision S as well.

Adding the name Scorpio to this car will be similar to what the company has done with the Bolero nameplate. Now two cars come with this nameplate, Bolero and Bolero Neo. Both are SUVs, but target different segments. Mahindra can attract the attention of new buyers by launching a compact SUV named Scorpio Sport.
