Bomb scare on Kolkata-Shillong IndiGo flight, plane moved to isolation bay

New Delhi: A bomb threat was reported aboard an IndiGo flight from Kolkata to Shillong on Saturday morning, prompting authorities to evacuate passengers and shift the aircraft to an isolated bay for testing. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata airport director said, “Shillong IndiGo 6E3074, which was scheduled to depart from Kolkata airport at 9:15 am due to a bomb scare in Kolkata. The aircraft was taken to an isolated bay. During boarding, crew members found a piece of paper, which was supposed to contain a bomb inside the aircraft. Immediately, passengers were evacuated from the aircraft. The verification process is going on.”
