Chennai: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin Congress leaders on Wednesday ruled out the possibility of a coalition government in the state, suggesting ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.“Power sharing will not suit Tamil Nadu,” the Chief Minister said at a session organized by a media house in Chennai. “Both Congress and DMK are aware that power sharing will not work in TN. But some are trying to create a divide between the two parties,” Stalin said.The Chief Minister, however, said that the DMK’s alliance with the Congress will continue. Some are trying to break the alliance, but it won’t happen. We will choose together.Stalin also appreciated Rahul GandhiSaid that their bond is beyond politics. “Rahul sees me as his brother. We share a lot apart from politics,” he added.Responding to his comments, TNCC chief K Selvaperunthagai said that the Chief Minister has expressed his opinion on the matter, but Rahul Gandhi and Stalin will jointly decide. Congress MP Manikom Thakur said in X that “the people of Tamil Nadu will decide whether the state wants a coalition government or not.”
