New Delhi: Defense Minister Dr Rajnath Singh chaired the 5th meeting of the IGoM in Delhi on Monday to review the existing risks to the energy supply chain and domestic availability of essential commodities in the wake of conflicts in West Asia.“I request people to remain calm and avoid any panic as the government is taking strong steps to prevent shortages or disruptions in the supply chain,” Rajnath said.“Shri Prime Minister Modi’s call for collective participation of the people to help the country tackle global obstacles and challenges continues to be an important step towards ensuring self-reliance and energy security. It is the Prime Minister’s broad message about conservation in a tough global time,” he added, referring to the Prime Minister’s Sunday message on energy and energy conservation.
