MUMBAI: Amid growing concern over “digital addiction” and its adverse effects among children, Maharashtra The government has decided to form an expert task force to study the issue and recommend measures, state IT minister Ashish Shelar said in the Assembly on Wednesday. The task force, which will include members of both houses of the state assembly, will submit its report before the next session of the legislature, he said. He also cited a study indicating a significant increase in gaming addiction among children in urban and rural Maharashtra.
