As soon as Sonam Raghuvanshi, the main accused in Indore’s famous Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, got bail, this case has once again come into limelight. The war of words between Raja and Sonam’s family regarding this has also intensified. Sonam’s brother Govind Raghuvanshi said in a threatening tone that we don’t know why we are being harassed.
Govind Raghuvanshi said in clear words that we neither hired any lawyer nor made any efforts for bail. Whatever happened, happened on the orders of the court. He also said that he no longer has any relation with Sonam and he considers himself separate from this entire matter. Govind said that due to continuous allegations and mental pressure, his condition has become very bad. He even said that if I was harassed too much, I would commit suicide.
Tension increased after bail
Sonam got bail after about 11 months. While this decision of Shillong court gave relief to Sonam, there is anger in the family of deceased Raja Raghuvanshi. Raja’s brother Vipin Raghuvanshi said that this decision is very painful for him. He said that the family was hopeful of justice, but they are shocked by the grant of bail. Vipin alleges that the police did not share information about many important processes on time, due to which the accused party got the benefit in the court.

Vipin Raghuvanshi clearly said that he will challenge this decision. We will go to the High Court and demand cancellation of the bail. We believe that the guilty should be punished and not given relief. The family is now preparing to take this fight further. The most emotional and sharp reaction in this entire matter was from Raja’s mother Uma Raghuvanshi. He said that he had faith in the law, but now his faith has been broken. He said that I think there is a game of money in this case. Justice has been affected somewhere. He also said that if the accused had been a boy instead of a girl, perhaps he would not have got bail so easily. Uma has demanded re-investigation of this case and handing it over to CBI. He also demanded strict punishment for the accused.
Father and brother also raised questions
Raja’s father Ashok Raghuvanshi also raised questions on the justice system. He says he no longer trusts the system. Meanwhile, brother Sachin Raghuvanshi said that we had heard in films that the law is blind, but now it seems true. Sachin said in a sarcastic tone that getting bail so quickly in such cases is beyond comprehension and sends a wrong message.
