The case of a half-burnt body found in Wankaner taluka of Morbi district of Gujarat had created a sensation in the entire area. Now the police has revealed this murder mystery. Investigation revealed that this was not an accident but a planned murder. The wife of the deceased, along with her lover and her real mother, had conspired to murder her husband. On April 28, a half-dead body of a man was found in a deserted area near Resi Ceramic on Dhuva-Matel Road. Whose condition was so bad that it was very difficult to identify him. The hands of the deceased were tied, due to which the suspicion of murder was raised in the beginning. Police and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation. The post mortem report confirmed that the young man was murdered about four days ago. After this, the body was set on fire to hide its identity.
According to Wankaner DSP Sameer Sarda, the body was badly burnt but the mark of ‘Om’ made on the hand of the deceased proved to be an important clue for the police. The police scanned the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby and took the investigation forward with the help of mobile call detail records i.e. CDR. After continuous investigation, the deceased was identified as Chhagan Ninama, resident of Madhya Pradesh.
Police came to know that Chhagan lived with his family in Madhya Pradesh, but was separated from his wife. After this the police started an in-depth investigation into his family relationships and activities. Investigation revealed that there was a dispute going on between Chhaganbhai and his wife Suman for a long time. There were frequent fights between the two, due to which Suman had left her husband about three years ago.
Actually Suman started living with her lover Pawan Kumar Ninama, who worked as a contractor in a ceramic factory. Suman was living with her lover along with her two children. Recently, the factory was closed due to gas crisis, after which Suman returned to her hometown. During this time, she hatched a conspiracy to remove her husband.
Police investigation revealed that Pawan Kumar Ninama had instigated Suman to murder her husband. Under the plan, Suman along with her mother came to Chhagan from Madhya Pradesh. Morbi Reached. Seeing an opportunity on the way, Pawan strangled Chhaganbhai from behind with a rope. After the murder, the three accused took the body to a deserted area and burnt it so that it could not be identified. The accused felt that the police would not get any clue after the dead body was completely burnt. But technical investigation and forensic evidence exposed the entire matter.
Police have arrested the deceased’s wife Suman, her lover Pawan Kumar Ninama and Suman’s mother in this case. All three accused are being interrogated and other aspects related to the murder are also being investigated. Police officials say that the accused had tried to destroy the evidence in a very vicious manner. However, CCTV footage, mobile location and call records exposed the entire conspiracy.
