Robert Vadra, accused in the money laundering case related to Gurugram-based Shikohpur Land Scam, got bail from Rouse Avenue Court. The court granted bail to Vadra on presenting a personal bond of Rs 50 thousand and a surety of the same amount.
For this Vadra appeared in Rouse Avenue Court. Rouse Avenue Court had summoned Robert Vadra after taking cognizance of the ED charge sheet filed against Vadra. During the hearing, Vadra’s lawyer said that there is no question on bail, because we were never arrested that we should be released.
The Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED is investigating this land deal under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). As per the court’s instructions, it was mandatory for Vadra to submit a surety bond and surety for relief.
ED told the court that a detailed report will be filed regarding further investigation in the case. Rouse Avenue Court has fixed the next hearing of the case for July 10.

ED alleges that through the deal, Robert Vadra and his associated companies embezzled money on a large scale. After investigation, the agency filed a charge sheet in the court on July 17, 2025.
