On Tuesday, many employees reached the CO office and started submitting the requested information in writing. Police are also finding out how many times transactions took place in the bank after the matter came to light in June. Along with this, information is also being taken from the private security guards posted outside the counting room.
The condition of note counting employees improved
According to sources, the financial condition of some employees associated with the counting room seems to have changed compared to before. Some people have told the police that the expenses and living standards of some employees have increased in the last few months. Now the police is investigating whether it is related to the offering case.
All the employees and security personnel who transport the boxes of notes from the counting room to the bank are also under investigation. In its report, the SIT has asked to investigate every person associated with this entire process.
Details of income and expenditure sought in writing
According to the information, a total of 44 employees were involved in counting the money and metals donated by the devotees. Of these, seven main accused have already been sent to jail. Now the police is trying to find out whether there has been any change in the financial condition of the remaining employees or not. For this reason, details of income and expenditure have been sought from everyone in writing. Many employees also submitted their accounts on Tuesday.
Police are also finding out where and how much property the accused have acquired in the last two years. Also, efforts are being made to find out how much of the total amount of offerings was falsified. During the investigation, the responsibilities and any negligence of the officials of Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust have also been investigated.
