The police has taken major action as part of the campaign against organized crime and illegal activities in Fatehpur, UP. Malwan police station has attached the immovable property worth about Rs 1 crore 77 thousand 680 of gangster Shailendra Singh alias Raju Yadav.
Police say that the accused Shailendra Singh alias Raju Yadav, a resident of Kotwali area, used to cheat people by promising them jobs in the Merchant Navy. Apart from this, serious charges like cheating, forgery and threatening to kill are also registered against him. Police investigation also revealed that the accused had been carrying out criminal activities in an organized manner for a long time. He had acquired property from this illegal earning.
During the investigation it also came to light that the accused had registered his illegal assets in the name of his family and associates. The attached properties include immovable properties located in Mauza Mitthanpur Khuddina registered in the name of his wife Pratibha Yadav, sister Neelam Devi and associate Asha Singh. The total estimated value of all these properties has been estimated at Rs 1 crore 77 thousand 680.
Police say that many cases including fraud, forgery, intimidation and Gangster Act are already registered against Shailendra Singh alias Raju Yadav in Kotwali Nagar. During this action, properties were attached in the presence of police force. Officials say that strict action against crime and illegal earning networks will continue in the district. SP Fatehpur Abhimanyu Manglik said that this action has been taken as part of the ongoing campaign against criminals. Under no circumstances will such accused be spared.
