The Indian premiere of Christopher Nolan’s film ‘The Odyssey’ took place in Mumbai on Saturday. Nolan was joined by Tom Holland and Matt Damon at the special screening. Before the premiere, the three stopped at a café to have tea. Someone wrote, ‘Tea break before the red carpet.’ One user wrote, ‘Even after making the biggest film of the decade, simplicity remains intact.’ Along with the cast and makers of the film, many Bollywood celebs also attended the premiere of the film ‘The Odyssey’ in Mumbai. ‘The Odyssey’ starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya and Charlize Theron will be released in theaters on July 17. Christopher Nolan said that he wanted to premiere ‘Tenet’ in India because it was shot in Mumbai. However, this could not happen due to the Covid pandemic. He said that now coming to India with ‘The Odissi’ is very exciting for him. Tom Holland called the film a ‘love letter’ to the audience. Tom Holland said during the premiere that this film is like a love letter to cinema and the audience. He said that the emotions of Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway’s characters in the film will reach the audience deeply and people will feel a different connection to Nolan’s work. Christopher Nolan is counted among Hollywood’s most successful and influential film directors. He has made a name for himself across the world with his unique storytelling style and brilliant direction.
