It was claimed that the actor’s health had deteriorated due to insect bite on the sets of Prabhas starrer film Fauji, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Some reports claimed that his health deteriorated not due to insect bite but due to diabetes.

According to Sudipta’s post, about six hours after the insect bite, Rajesh Sharma started having severe pain in his right leg and his health started deteriorating. Even after this he caught a flight to Kolkata. During the journey he developed high fever and became very restless. On reaching Kolkata his condition worsened the next day. After this the family immediately admitted him to Manipal Hospital in Dhakuria.

West Bengal Minister Indranil had reached the hospital to meet Rajesh Sharma.
