But the motivation they got was that they could provide proper help to Pakistan and their aircraft could show their full strength.

The name of another engineer is Xu Dr. He also works in Chengdu Institute and he also went to Pakistan during the war. He compared the J-10CE aircraft to a child. He said, ‘We nurtured it, maintained it and finally handed it over to the user. And then he was facing a big test.
He said that the excellent results given by J-10CE are not surprising. ‘Actually it was mandatory. The plane needed the right opportunity. And when that opportunity came, it worked exactly the way we had planned.
