About 40 people including Nazim Khan, Raju Gaur, Yasin Hafiz, Kadu, Sattar, Ghanshyam Gaur, Ameen Khan, Abdul Khan, Firoz, Ghani, Shaheen Khan, Monu, Ghafoor Khan, Sonu Arya, Parmanand, Mohsin, Ranveer were injured in the attack. All the injured were taken to the district hospital for treatment.

Wasim Khan, a friend of an injured youth resident of the city, says, “A stray dog ​​bit my friend near the fair ground and we brought him to the hospital.” More than 40 people injured in dog attacks have come here for treatment. However, we do not know whether one dog attacked or more than one dog bit the people.

Civil Surgeon of District Hospital Sheopur, Dr. SN Bindal said on phone call that after providing first aid to the injured in the district hospital, anti-rabies injections were given to them. Doctors have appealed to people to be cautious of stray dogs and to immediately reach the hospital in case of a bite.

However, the increasing number of stray dogs in the city is now becoming a serious challenge for the safety of the people. The incident of 40 people getting injured in a single day has also raised questions on the arrangements of the city administration.
