After knowing the well being of the injured, he expressed deep sorrow over the accident and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. While talking to the media, Akhilesh Yadav said that if safety rules and standards had been followed properly, such a big accident would not have happened. He also said that many people lost their lives due to negligence in security arrangements and ignoring standards.
Akhilesh Yadav told that he has met an injured youth whose condition is still critical. He said that to save his life the young man had to jump from a height, due to which he suffered serious injury to his spinal cord. According to doctors, his treatment may last for a long time.

He said that the most sad thing is that the injured youth is the only earning member of his family. In such a situation, along with his treatment, the financial security of his family should also be ensured. Akhilesh Yadav demanded that the young man should continue getting his salary till he becomes completely healthy so that his family does not have to face financial crisis.
The Samajwadi Party chief said that all possible help should be provided to all the families affected by the accident. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to stand with the victims and their families. He raised the question that if the government does not help then who will? Let us tell you, 15 people lost their lives in this incident and many people are injured, who are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Appeal to give compensation of Rs 1 crore to the families of the deceased
Akhilesh Yadav demanded that the government should bear the entire expense of the treatment of all the people injured in the fire. He also demanded a compensation of at least Rs 1 crore to the families of the deceased. He said that in this difficult time, the affected families should get both financial and social support. He said that the people affected by the accident should get justice and relief and strict adherence to safety standards should be ensured to prevent such incidents in future.
