Famous producer of Tamil film industry K Rajan committed suicide according to reports on Sunday. The entire film industry is in shock with this news. Police have registered the case and started investigation. K Rajan committed suicide by jumping from Adyar Bridge in Chennai. However, more information is yet to be revealed in the case. He is survived by his son Prabhu Kant.

He debuted as a director in the year 1991. His first film was Namma Oru Mariamma, in which Nijalaghal Ravi and Sarathkumar were seen. Later he also directed films like Unarakigal. Apart from this, K Rajan also wrote stories for many films, which include Thangamana Thangachi and Unarchigal. As an actor he also worked in many films. He was seen in Michael Raj, Sonthakaran, Veettoda, Mappilai, Pambu Satai, Ajit Kumar’s Thunivu and Selvaraghavan’s Bakasuran.
