Farhana Bhatt, who was the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 19, will soon be seen in the TV show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’. This time the theme of the show has been kept as ‘Darr ka Naya Daur’, in which there will be a fierce competition between old contestants and new faces. In a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Farhana talked about her fears, struggles and people’s taunts. Farhana also said that in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ the real competition is not with other contestants but with one’s own fear. Question: How do you feel being a part of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’? Answer: It is a very different feeling. There is excitement and also fear. This is a lifetime experience because you cannot do such stunts in real life. It is a big thing to do all this with a legend like Rohit Shetty and amidst complete safety. I want to explore a new part of my personality through this show. Question: Did you start preparing yourself mentally for this show during Bigg Boss? Answer: To be honest, yes, but after coming out of Bigg Boss, a lot of things were going on in life. For a long time I did not even think about the show, but when I came to know about this season that old contestants are returning and there will be new people too, then I felt that it is going to be a very interesting season. So I said yes. Question: What has been your biggest fear in real life? Answer: Even today I am afraid of many things. The only difference is that now perhaps I will get a chance to see those fears closely. Life runs so fast that a person is unable to stop and stand in front of his fear, but now perhaps he will get the opportunity to look at the fear so closely that the fear goes away. Question: Are you afraid of heights, water and insects? Answer: Every person has his own fear point. I have seen a lot in life, but that does not mean I am not afraid. I’m afraid of water, I’m afraid of heights. I have never lived among insects and reptiles, so I don’t know what the conditions will be like there, but I think this entire journey will be very fun. Question: In Bigg Boss you saw mental games, planning and strategy. Will that help here? Answer: I think mental preparation is more difficult than physical preparation because you do not know what is going to happen there. All you know is that there will be water, height, electric shock or insects. But no one knows how it will happen, how scary it will be. So it’s a very mixed feeling. Question: There are many strong female contestants this season. With whom do you feel like bonding and with whom do you want to see competition? Answer: I can’t say anything until I spend time with everyone. I can never be fake in life. If there is friendship with someone, it will be from the heart, but if we have to form a team according to the game or go against someone, then it will depend on the situation. Question: Your Bigg Boss partner Gaurav will also be in the show, how is the bond with him? Answer: We had a very good bond in Bigg Boss. Then there were many ups and downs, but now we are very good friends. We know each other’s personality very well, but I feel that in this show the other contestants are not your real competition. Your biggest competition is your own fear. Question: How big a challenge was it to come from a place like Kashmir and make a mark in the industry? Answer: People used to say that you are very emotional, anyone will take advantage of you. I come from a family where there was no mail backup. My mother also started giving up many times because I was struggling a lot. But I had faith in myself that one day something good would definitely happen. Question: Where did you get such confidence and strong opinion from? Answer: Maybe I have a very strong mind. If someone told me that ‘you won’t be able to do it’, my ego used to motivate me more. I wondered who you were to decide what I could and couldn’t do. Question: Are strong and opinionated girls judged more? Answer: Absolutely. When people feel that they cannot control or manipulate you, then you become their enemy. Every person wants the other person to obey him, but everyone has his own thinking and his own life. Now I have reached that phase where these things do not matter. Question: What would today’s Farhana want to say to the Farhana of her old struggling days? Answer: I just want to say that thank you for not giving up. The world tried a lot to bring you down, break your courage and make you doubt yourself, but it was good that you did not believe their words. Question: After Salman Khan, how much excitement do you have about working with Rohit Shetty? Answer: I am very excited about Rohit sir. Even in Bigg Boss, he guided me in a very positive manner. I have seen in previous seasons that when a contestant starts giving up, he himself comes and motivates. I feel that if I get scared in any stunt, Rohit sir will take me out of that fear. Question: What would you like to say to the fans in the end? Answer: If I am here today, it is only because of my fans. It was he who expressed his desire to see me on TV again. All I want to say is that I will give my 100% and try so that you never have to feel ashamed of me. Right now people are making AI videos of my helicopter stunts and insects. This is very exciting for me too.
