Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp celery
1/4 tsp nigella seeds
2 tbsp desi ghee or refined (for kneading the dough)
Ghee or refined (for baking as required)
salt as per taste

How to make Ajwain Paratha?

  1. To make Ajwain Paratha, first sift the wheat flour and put it in a big bowl.
  2. Now add celery, nigella and salt as per taste and mix well.
  3. After this, add ghee or refined to the flour and mix well. Then add water little by little and knead a stiff dough. After the dough is ready, cover it with a wet cotton cloth and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Now knead the dough lightly once again and make equal balls of it. Meanwhile, keep a nonstick pan on medium gas for heating.
  5. Now take a ball and roll it into a round or triangular shape. Put the prepared paratha on a hot pan and cook for a few seconds. After this, turn the paratha and apply ghee or oil on the upper side and cook.
