In the short PM report of AIIMS Bhopal in the suicide case of Bhopal actress Twisha Sharma, multiple injury marks have been mentioned on the body. Twisha’s family members have been suspecting murder since the beginning. At the same time, the deceased’s mother-in-law Giribala Singh and her advocate Enosh George Carlo have raised questions on the report.
He says that the report has been prepared only with the intention of spreading sensation. There is mention of injuries in the report, but it was not made clear where and how many injuries. He said that he has no objection to getting the investigation done by the Second PM or any agency and he will cooperate in the investigation.
Twisha and Samarth were married on 12 December 2025.
Forensic investigation remained incomplete due to belt not being found
Questions are being raised on the police investigation in Twisha Sharma suicide case. According to the postmortem report, the belt with which it was said to be used for hanging was not taken by the investigating officer to AIIMS Bhopal at the time of postmortem. The belt was later handed over for examination, but doctors could not scientifically examine the marks on the neck and the alleged hanging instrument.
After the lapse in postmortem, the family has demanded that the case be investigated by an independent agency outside Madhya Pradesh and the postmortem be conducted again in Delhi AIIMS. For this reason, even after eight days of death, the family members are not ready to take the body and perform the last rites.
The family members say that due to unavailability of belt, the doctors could not decide with what material the hanging was done. The ligature marks of the neck could not be matched and measured correctly. Meanwhile, the anticipatory bail plea of husband Samarth Singh was rejected on Monday.
Twisha’s father Navnidhi Sharma folded hands and sought justice for his daughter.
Police said- 6 teams gathered in search of accused Samarth
ACP Rajneesh Kashyap Kaul said that the belt used in the hanging was confiscated, but it could not be sent to AIIMS at the time of postmortem. A reward of Rs 10,000 has been announced for the arrest of accused Samarth. Six teams are busy searching for him. Arrest will be made soon.
Mother-in-law burst into tears while talking to the media
The anticipatory bail of Samarth Singh, accused in the dowry death case, was rejected by the Bhopal court on Monday. After this his mother and former judge Giribala Singh came in front of the media for the first time. He made many claims regarding the deceased daughter-in-law and her family.
Giribala Singh told that daughter-in-law Twisha Sharma had voluntarily aborted the pregnancy. After this she fell into depression. She said that she stays in the Consumer Forum for 6 to 7 hours every day and her son Samarth Singh also practices in the court, hence the daughter-in-law used to stay alone at home.
He told that Twisha’s mother Rekha was asked several times to come to Bhopal and stay with her daughter, but she never came. Only once did she come to Bhopal with her son, when Tisha got angry and went to her maternal home.

Twisha herself came to Bhopal with the proposal
Giribala Singh told that Twisha Sharma had come to his house for the first time last year. She herself had talked about marriage with Samarth and told that there was an affair between the two. He said that initially Twisha and her family seemed cultured. Later she felt that Twisha was only acting to be cultured, because she was already associated with the glamorous field.
Found out to be a drug addict a month after marriage
Giribala Singh claimed that within a month of the marriage, he felt that his daughter-in-law was a drug addict. He said that her hands trembled, her temper became irritable and she insisted on going to Delhi because she could easily get ganja there. He said that even after this the family supported him, got him counseling and tried to get rid of the drug addiction.
Neither did I get peace while alive nor are my family members allowing me to find peace after death.
The retired judge said that Twisha used to spend a large part of the money earned from glamor and job on her parents. He alleged that he did not get peace while alive and even after his death, his family members are trying to take mileage from the case by keeping his body.
Giribala said – The family members are insulting Shahid’s widow.
Giribala Singh said that his family is associated with service to the country. One son is a wing commander and the other is a criminal lawyer. She told that her husband was martyred while serving the country. He said that out of compulsion he had to come in front of the media.
He said that it is not him who is showing influence, but Twisha’s family. By coming to the court with the army, they are threatened and allegations are made against them. He said that wherever the family wants the body to become PM again and the government may get the investigation done by any agency, they have faith in the justice system.
Sister-in-law’s allegation- Sister-in-law was also harassed for dowry.
Twisha’s sister-in-law Rashi told that Twisha had said many times that her sister-in-law was also tortured in her in-laws’ house. For this reason, she left home and filed a case of dowry harassment. According to Rashi, Twisha wanted to get an abortion due to unwanted pregnancy.
Rashi said that whether a woman wants to have a child or not is her right. It is alleged that Twisha was taunted in her in-laws house as to why she was not having a child and whether the child belonged to someone else. He said that being upset with such sarcasm, Giribala Singh’s elder daughter-in-law had also left the house.
Rashi alleged that attempts were made to humiliate Twisha all the time. Due to these things she got depressed. He said that her death occurred under suspicious circumstances and she could not have taken a step like suicide.
