The condition of the eyes of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is now better than before. A few days ago, news came about Imran Khan, lodged in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, that he had lost 85 percent of the vision in one eye. After this, the court had given instructions to get his eyes examined by a specialist.

The court had asked for a thorough examination of Imran Khan’s eyes. After this, a team of doctors examined Imran Khan’s eyes on Sunday. After this he informed that his eyesight and eye condition is now improving.
What is the condition of Imran Khan’s eyes?
If reports are to be believed, two doctors have examined Imran Khan’s eyes. These include Dr. Nadeem Qureshi of Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital and Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), Islamabad. The report said that without glasses, Khan’s vision in his right eye was recorded as 6/24 (partial) and vision in his left eye was recorded as 6/9.
Eye drops and test advice to Imran Khan
With corrective glasses, Imran Khan’s vision has improved to 6/9 (partial) in his right eye and 6/6 in his left eye. It has also been claimed that the swelling in his right eye has reduced. According to the report, the thickness of the swelling has reduced from 550 to 350 microns. The medical board has given eye drops to the former PM for both his eyes. Along with this, he has also been advised to undergo two tests of both the eyes.
As soon as the information about Imran Khan’s eye treatment was received, PTI Chairman Gohar Khan and Leader of Opposition in the Senate Allama Nasir Abbas visited PIMS.
Family doctors said this on the report
The report said that Imran Khan’s family doctors Asim Yusuf and Dr. Khurram Mirza have been given their health updates over the phone. However, Dr Yusuf said that he could not confirm the report until he was allowed to investigate directly.

Dr. Yusuf has appealed that doctors should be allowed to meet Imran Khan on the advice of him and Dr. Faisal Sultan, or Khan’s family. He also demanded to shift Imran to Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad for treatment.
