New Delhi: Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), the city’s busiest rail hub, witnessed a dangerous incident when a man, allegedly drunk, was found sleeping on a railway track, halting Harbor Line services and delaying thousands of daily commuters.The incident, captured in a video now circulating widely on social media, shows the man lying on the tracks as people jostle, shout and wave to stop an oncoming train.(TOI cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video)The train stops in time to avoid any untoward incident, but this act poses serious risks. Such acts are strictly prohibited by law. The incident led to temporary service suspensions, affecting peak hour commuters, before operations resumed after the man was safely removed from the tracks.
