
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the third decade of the 21st century would be the fulfilling “Decade of Uttarakhand”.

He highlighted the state’s efforts through special action plans and public welfare schemes, noting that once deserted villages are now witnessing revival and hills are being revitalized.
“Prime Minister Modi said that the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand, and to give meaning to his words, we are working steadily with full commitment. Over the years, we have tried to ensure the overall development of the state through various welfare schemes, with specific action plans in each sector… Today, our barren hills are being repopulated, and villages that once endured the agony of displacement are now seeing a resurgence,” CM Dhami.

JP NaddaWho was present at the event, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is now the fourth largest economy in the world.
He added that citizens are witnessing the results of initiatives aimed at building a better India by 2047 and will be the “architects and witnesses” of the next 25 years of progress.
“Today, we must reflect on the fact that all of you are indeed fortunate to have witnessed the first 25 years of the 21st century, and you will have the opportunity to witness the next 25 years of the 21st century… You are going to be the architects and witnesses of a developed India… Now the results of the steps taken under the leadership of the Prime Minister are visible that, in the last 11 years, we have emerged as the fourth largest economy in the world,” he said.
