An incident of fire broke out in the Naval Dockyard located in the southern part of Mumbai late on Thursday evening, due to which there was a stir in the area for some time. The fire broke out in a west stockyard inside the dockyard. The fire broke out at around 10:25 pm.
According to a news agency, the fire broke out in an oblique direction in front of the Gateway of India in Colaba. As soon as information about the incident was received, the Navy’s fire tender team reached the spot and quickly started the work of extinguishing the fire.
The fire was stopped from spreading in time and the fire was brought under control within a short time.
