Trying to capitalize on small screen popularity on the big screen is often risky, and this film is a failed example of that risk. The characters which used to give a slight smile on TV, create fatigue and boredom in a two-hour film. In place of story there is noise, in place of humor there is vulgarity, and in place of entertainment there is frustration. The story is full of vulgar jokes. This film has been released today. Dainik Bhaskar has given this film a rating of 1 star out of 5. What is the story of the film? Enter two goonda brothers Shanti and Kranti amid the neighborly rivalry of Manmohan Tiwari and Vibhuti Mishra. Both of them fall in love with Angoori and Anita and from here begins a long series of escapades and forced incidents. Instead of moving forward, the story rests on jokes again and again. There are so many fart-related dialogues, double entendres and humor focused on the body that the narrative cannot be balanced. Many scenes make one uncomfortable, many seem boring, and by the end the viewer’s patience begins to wear thin. How is the acting of the star cast? Aasif Sheikh and Rohitashv Gaur are comfortable in their familiar characters, but the script limits them. Shubhangi Atre shines in a few moments, but her parts also become repetitive. Vidisha Srivastava gets very little to do. Ravi Kishan tries to bring energy, but the weak writing doesn’t take full advantage of his presence. There is a crowd of supporting actors, but they are not used to strengthen the story. How is the direction and technical aspects of the film? The director brought the world of TV on screen as it is, but did not expand it as per the demands of cinema. The script is lacking in consistency, the editing is loose and many scenes drag on unnecessarily. The visual composition is simple, the background music does not leave an impact. The entire film feels like an extended episode that was made longer for no good reason. Final Verdict, watch or not? This film tries to give the old taste to its fans, but the same taste feels stale and artificial here. If you have expectations from cinema then this experience will disappoint. One star, and that too only in the name of the hard work of the artists.
