The hearing could not be held on the very first day in the fast track court set up to hear the NEET paper leak case. During the proceedings held on Monday, no lawyer from CBI appeared in the court. After this the court adjourned the hearing on the case.
Rouse Avenue Court during this time directed the Director of Prosecution that NEET paper leak A Public Prosecutor should be appointed to prosecute the case, so that there is no hindrance in the further hearing. On Monday, the bail petitions of accused Vikas and Dinesh Biwal in this case were also listed for hearing, but due to no lawyer being present on behalf of CBI, these too could not be heard.
Now the next hearing of this case will be held on August 3 in Rouse Avenue Court. The court has expressed hope that on the next date the public prosecutor will be appointed by the prosecution and the hearing of the case will be able to proceed.
