Concerns have increased regarding the health and support of social activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is on hunger strike from the hospital demanding paper leak and reforms in the education system. Meanwhile, Commonwealth Games gold medalist and Olympic wrestler Babita Phogat has made a humble request to Sonam Wangchuk to end her fast.
While sharing the post on social media platform ‘X’, Babita Phogat said that the entire country respects the contribution of Sonam Wangchuk and is concerned about her health. “I have a humble request to respected Sonam Wangchuk ji, who has contributed to the welfare of the society, to end her fast. We all are concerned about your health. We have full faith that the Central Government under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is both sensitive and dedicated to solving all the problems of the students.”
Babita Phogat further said that the Central Government has made many historic efforts for employment, skill development and bright future of the school students and the youth of the country. He stressed that the solution to all issues related to public interest and national interest is possible only by having faith in dialogue and democratic process, and not by putting health at risk.
