Why is there ruckus?
Let us tell you that this is not the first time that questions have been raised regarding the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) examination. Similar allegations have been made by the Commission earlier also regarding recruitments. However, the paper has not been leaked in this examination. It is alleged that there has been rigging in the 14th Civil Services Preliminary Examination of JPSC. People protesting say that the cutoff and numbers were not made public. The result was released without transparency. Some candidates have also alleged irregularities in the OMR sheet. At the same time, many candidates have claimed that even after scoring high marks, they have not been selected while those who have scored low marks have got the job.
When was the exam to be held?
According to the release issued by the Commission, the main (written) examination to be conducted under Advertisement No. 01/2026 was scheduled to be held on 25th July, 26th July and 27th July 2026 in two shifts at various examination centers in Ranchi district, but due to the orders received from the government and irregularities in the conduct of the examination, the examination has been postponed.
