He said that even after the crisis is over, prices of goods will remain higher than before.
Lagarde said that the European Central Bank (ECB) will take all necessary steps to maintain price stability and keep inflation close to the target of 2 percent. He also said that the European Union has sufficient oil reserves, which can meet the potential demand. Eurogroup President Kuriakos Pierrakakis said that the crisis for Europe will be considered over only when the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz becomes normal again without any interruption and additional charges.
