ईरान युद्ध का साइड इफेक्ट… यूरोप में महंगाई की मार, तेल-गैस 2027 तक रहेगा महंगा – Europe Warns High Oil and Gas Prices May Continue Till 2027 ntc dpmx

Oil and gas prices in Europe may remain high at least until the end of 2027. European Union (EU) officials warned on Friday that the impact of the energy crisis after the Iran war will continue for a long time and will also affect the prices of everyday goods.

EuropeUnion Economy Commissioner Valdis Dabrowski said that rising energy prices are the biggest reason for rising inflation. He told that this year the inflation rate in Eurozone is expected to be 3.1 percent, while in 2027 it may be 2.4 percent. Earlier, inflation for this year was estimated at 1.9 percent.

Dabrowski said that increased inflation in the energy sector will gradually affect other sectors of the economy and prices of goods and services may continue to rise. European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said that even if the Middle East conflict ends now, its delayed effects will remain in the market for a long time. He said that even after the crisis is over, prices of goods will remain higher than before.

Lagarde said that the European Central Bank (ECB) will take all necessary steps to maintain price stability and keep inflation close to the target of 2 percent. He also said that the European Union has sufficient oil reserves, which can meet the potential demand. Eurogroup President Kuriakos Pierrakakis said that the crisis for Europe will be considered over only when the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz becomes normal again without any interruption and additional charges.

About 20 percent of the world’s oil and gas supply passes through this sea route. He said that the economic growth of Eurozone is estimated to be 0.9 percent this year and 1.2 percent in 2027. Although this is less than earlier estimates, Europe is currently far from a recession.
