Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually distribute appointment letters of government jobs to more than 51 thousand youth across the country in the 19th ‘Employment Fair’ to be held on Saturday. This program will be organized through video conferencing at 11 am, in which the Prime Minister will also address the youth.
According to the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, employment generation has been given top priority. Since the launch of this initiative, 18 job fairs have been organized across the country.
So far, about 12 lakh youth have been issued appointment letters for government services through these fairs. Tomorrow’s event will be the 19th major milestone in this series.
PM Modi shares happiness on X
Prime Minister Modi encouraged the youth by expressing his feelings on social media platform X. He wrote, “Our commitment towards the bright future and empowerment of our young comrades across the country is unwavering. In this direction, tomorrow morning I will be attending another employment fair through video conferencing, where I will have the privilege of handing over appointment letters to the youth for various government departments.”
Simultaneous event at 47 places across the country
This huge event will not be limited to Delhi only, but will be organized at 47 different places in every corner of the country. The youth selected under this recruitment drive will serve in important ministries of the Central Government, the major ones being:
Ministry of Railways
Home Ministry
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
Department of Financial Services and Higher Education
