NTA got 2 new Joint Secretaries, 2 Joint Directors

New Delhi: The government on Saturday appointed two joint secretaries and two joint directors at the National Testing Agency (NTA), which has come under fire over the NEET-UG paper leak.According to an order issued by the personnel department, Indian Statistical Service officer of 1998 batch Anuja Bapat and Indian Revenue Service officer of 2004 batch Ruchita Vij were appointed as joint secretaries. It said two vacant posts of Deputy Secretary/Director level have been upgraded to Joint Secretary level for two years.Akash Jain, an Indian Revenue Service officer, and Aditya Rajendra Bhojgadhia, an Indian Audit and Accounts Service officer, have been named as joint directors at the NTA, it said in a separate order.On Friday, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the NTA needed more reforms.
