Congress Party’s national spokesperson Shama Mohammed made a post on social media praising the film Dhurandhar. Also replying to a user, he said that in the film, not Muslims but Pakistanis have been shown in a negative manner. Actually, Shama Mohammed wrote on the official X account that she recently watched the film Dhurandhar and she liked its direction, script and acting. He praised the acting of actor Ranveer Singh and praised director Aditya Dhar and said that the way of connecting old Hindi songs with the scenes in the film was brilliant. The user called the film a propaganda movie. Commenting on Shama’s post, a user said, “How can you post this? Muslims have been shown in a wrong way in this propaganda movie. You should be ashamed.” To this, Shama Mohammad replied, “In this film, Muslims have not been shown wrong, but Pakistanis have been shown wrong. It is wrong to equate both of them. People like you spoil the image of Muslims in India. If you have so much problem with India, then you can take Pakistani citizenship.” Dhurandhar had earned Rs 1,307 crore. Dhurandhar was released globally on 5 December 2025. Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun were seen in the film along with Ranveer Singh. The film was directed by Aditya Dhar. According to Sacknilk, Dhurandhar performed well at the Indian and international box office and earned around Rs 1,307 crore worldwide. The gross collection of the film in India was Rs 1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately Rs 840 crore. The film received tremendous response in foreign markets also. It earned around Rs 299.5 crore in overseas. It also broke the record of Bahubali 2 by earning more than Rs 193.06 crore in America and Canada. The second part was released on March 19. The second part of Dhurandhar was released globally in theaters on March 19, 2026. The total worldwide earning of the film so far has been Rs 1,792 crore. The total net collection of the film in India has reached Rs 1,141 crore and the total gross collection has reached Rs 1,365 crore. The film has so far earned Rs 426 crore from international markets.
