New Delhi: Indian Railways The 100th Vande Bharat train was launched from the Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in Rae Bareli on Saturday, marking a major milestone in a journey that began with just two trains in 2018.Before inducting this 16-coach-chair-car trainset into regular passenger service, the train will undergo oscillation trials to verify ride quality, safety parameters and dynamic performance.Production of these trains started at Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai and has now extended to Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala and MCF in Rae Bareli.In an official release, the national transporter said the MCF-manufactured trainset features significant engineering and performance enhancements aimed at improving reliability and safety.
