New Delhi: The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, in coordination with the Chinese government, will be held from June to August 2026. The journey was restarted by China last year amid signs of improvement in bilateral relations following the end of the demobilization process in eastern Ladakh.This year, 10 batches, each carrying 50 passengers, are scheduled to cross the Lipulekh Pass through Uttarakhand; And another 10 batches, each containing 50 passengers, will travel through the state of Sikkim and cross over to Nathu Lat.Passengers will be selected from applicants through a computer-generated and gender-balanced selection process, the MEA said. “Applicants can register on the site and submit their applications,” the MEA added.
