With the final phase of the West Bengal assembly elections coming to an end, attention has turned to the exit polls to be released after 6:30 pm as per the Election Commission of India guidelines. Strong voter turnout across West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry raised expectations ahead of May 4 counting, with stiff contests expected in several regions.
