NIA arrests main suspect in Bangar blast case

Calcutta: The NIA One of the main accused in the Bhangar bomb blast case in Bengal was arrested on Sunday, which killed one person and seriously injured three others in March this year. The explosion took place in South Bamunia village of Bhanard area. Accused Ahidul Islam Molla of South 24 Parganas was produced in court on Monday and sent to NIA custody. Earlier, another accused was arrested by the state police. Mullah’s arrest coincided with the Union Home Ministry’s decision on Saturday to hand over the probe into the bomb recovery from Bhangar to the NIA.
