Many big personalities from the South are coming to cast their votes on 152 seats of the first phase in West Bengal and on all 234 seats in Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth has cast his vote in Chennai.
South superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is contesting alone on all 234 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Vijay himself is a candidate to contest from Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East.

Vijay is a candidate from 2 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Rajinikanth left his home in Poes Garden in Chennai and reached the polling booth of Stella Maris School and voted.

Kamal Haasan arrived at Alwarpet School in Chennai with his daughter Shruti Haasan to cast her vote.

Actor Ajith reached a polling booth in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai and cast his vote.

South’s popular actress Trisha Krishnan cast her vote at a polling station in Chennai.

Actor Dhanush reached a polling station in Chennai to cast his vote.

Vijay Sethupathi said- please come and vote
After voting in Chennai, South actor Vijay Sethupathi, while talking to the media, has appealed to the public to vote enthusiastically. He said, please come and vote, this is our biggest responsibility.
Vikram Prabhu appealed to the youth to vote
Actor Vikram Prabhu appealed to the people to exercise their franchise after voting. He said that voting is the responsibility of every citizen and everyone should participate in it.
Vikram Prabhu said that increasing discussion about politics among the youth is a positive sign. According to him, it is important that the youth think about the future of the country and understand what kind of country they want. He expressed hope that this will increase awareness among the youth and motivate them to take responsible decisions.

Voting is being held on 152 seats in the first phase in West Bengal and on all 234 seats in Tamil Nadu. Till 11 am, 41.11% voting took place in Bengal and 37.56% voting in Tamil Nadu. There are reports of clashes between BJP and TMC workers at many places in Bengal. There have also been complaints of EVM malfunctioning at many places. Read the full news here…
