In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 24 IAS officers. Besides, District Magistrates (DM) of many districts have also been changed.
Under the transfer, many officers have been given the responsibility of new districts, while some have been posted in important departments. Avinash Kumar will now be the DM of Aligarh instead of Ghazipur. Arvind Singh (Additional Land Settlement Commissioner, Revenue Council) has been given the responsibility of Etah District Magistrate.
Amit Aseri has been made the DM of Banda, Ankur Lather of Farrukhabad, Kavita Meena of Hapur, Isha Priya of Ambedkar Nagar, Charchaat Gaur of Sonbhadra.
The current DM of Ayodhya, Nikhil Tikaram Funde, has now been given the responsibility of Special Secretary. Hapur DM Abhishek Pandey has now been made Additional Land Settlement Commissioner (Revenue Council).
